Meet Zach Provost
The most rewarding aspect of my job is knowing that the work we do directly impacts the lives of healthcare professionals and patients.
Why is Innovative’s focus on healthcare important to you?
As a former nurse, and with my wife currently serving as an APRN (Advanced Practice Registered Nurse) in our hometown community, healthcare improvement is something that deeply resonates with us. I’ve seen how the right technology can transform patient care and the efficiency of medical teams.
Innovative is proud to offer next-level service. How do you demonstrate this?
By taking ownership of outcomes and always pushing for excellence, I ensure that we’re not just meeting expectations—we’re exceeding them.
What has been the most unusual or “innovative” work skill you’ve acquired?
I’ve found that I have a knack for quickly picking up new products and systems. Once I get my hands on something, I can usually figure out how to configure it and support it pretty fast, which ends up being helpful for my colleagues when they need guidance.
What is especially rewarding about your job?
The most rewarding aspect of my job is knowing that the work we do directly impacts the lives of healthcare professionals and patients.
What quote resonates with you and why?
“I choose a lazy person to do a hard job. Because a lazy person will find an easy way to do it.” – Bill Gates. This quote resonates with me because it speaks to the value of efficiency and creativity. In my work, I’ve learned that the best solutions often come from simplifying complex processes and thinking outside the box to achieve better results with less effort. It’s about working smarter, not harder.
What is your favorite volunteer work?
I’ve always found fulfillment in helping friends, family, and neighbors when they need support. I believe that making a difference starts close to home.
What do you most enjoy doing outside of work?
Outside of work, I love hosting get-togethers with friends and neighbors—whether it’s to watch sports, enjoy some good music, or just have great conversations. I take pride in firing up the smoker to make brisket, wings, or pulled pork for everyone. I also enjoy working on home improvement projects.
