Our Story

In 2002, our Founder/Chairman of the Board, Wayne Kinney and partners Jeff Kinney and Diane Feyen built a company based on client relationships, believing in fulfilling the clients’ needs and doing what’s right for the client and the communities they serve. This continues to be the foundation of who we are and breaks the mold of the traditional consulting firm everyone knows today. Our employees know the value of providing quality engagements and in turn, create long-lasting business relationships for years to come. Our partnership extends beyond contract dates and you quickly become part of the ICG family.  

Wayne, as a former health system CIO, has firsthand knowledge of the challenges and opportunities that IT departments face. Inspired by business partner, Diane Feyen, they set out to serve the industry on a broader scale. Over the years, we have worked to build a team of “A-players.” Our management team is made up of industry experts, and our consultant screening process is incredibly thorough. We know CIOs don’t have time for anything short of the best quality, so we keep our standards high.
